Prayer Ministry
Welcome to the Prayer Ministry.
Whether you've been ministering in this capacity for a while or just recently joined, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your desire to pray for the needs of others. I'd also like to take the time to provide an overview of the prayer ministry: purpose, scope, discretion, procedure, and, of course, prayer.
Purpose
The purpose of the Prayer Ministry is to support one another in prayer, lifting the various prayer requests up to our Sovereign Lord. As we pray for specific matters, we must also understand and desire that God's perfect plan will be fulfilled.
Scope
The scope of the Prayer Ministry is our local church community: members, regular attenders, and supported missionaries of Redlands Community Church. Of course, many of our extended family and friends of RCC are scattered across the miles, and we count it a privilege to pray for them also. So if a prayer request is submitted on behalf of someone outside of our local church community, please provide some sort of personal connection so we can better understand the needs of our extended church family.
Discretion
Within this Prayer Ministry, there will be requests covering a wide range of needs: health, salvation, finances, wisdom, death, safety, etc. Some will be very sensitive in nature, some general and "safe". Please protect this information, regardless of the need, and simply pray in earnest to our faithful God. These prayer requests are not intended to be shared outside the prayer ministry, including bible studies, Sunday school, other prayer groups, social media, etc. The prayer team must remain a trusted ministry to share our prayer needs.
Procedure
To streamline and simplify the Prayer Ministry, please follow these guidelines regarding who to contact and how.

Prayer
Sometimes prayer is hard work. Sometimes a joy. As you pray, remember that the fruit of your labors may not be quickly realized, so be diligent. If you have updates to share regarding a request that you submitted, please share those also by email to: prayer@redlandschurch.net. It can be a real encouragement to your fellow prayer warriors.
Thank you for your time to review this, and more importantly, for your time taken in praying for one another.
Blessings,
Joshua Nadel
